You are invited to an informational tasting with Prime Roots, a Berkeley-based company that utilizes koji cultures to create all sorts of alt-proteins deli slices, from salami to bacon to ham! This event is to showcase Prime Roots koji deli slices being served at the Davis Food Co-op.

You'll get a chance to interact with representatives from both Prime Roots and the Davis Co-op to learn more about how this new product came to be, as well as how environmentally conscious grocers consider adding new products to their shelves. 

There will also be a chance for informal sensory feedback ✨ In addition to the product tasting, there will also be light refreshments afterwards!
